About TransferPlanner
A planner for community college students who are transferring: what counts, what's left, and what to confirm.
What it does
- It keeps your courses, exam scores and goals in one private record, and checks them against your university's published transfer rules.
- It shows what you've finished, what you're taking, what's still needed, and your next step, with the exact page or office to use.
3 more
- It plans the terms you have left, including winter and summer sessions and classes at other colleges, and says what a plan depends on: seats, passing grades and confirmations.
- It's built around transferring fast, in a year or a few terms, and works for longer timelines too.
- Every course is exactly one of Completed, In progress, Registered, Planned or Suggested. Adding a course to a plan never marks it registered.
How it decides what's true
- Every rule comes from an official page, and is shown with its source: the page, the exact words, and when we checked it.
- A rule reads Official source when its exact words were found on the university's own site or its system's, or were read word for word from an official agreement or transfer guide.
- Anything whose exact words we can't find on its official page isn't shown at all.

- A course match you checked yourself counts for you and reads Your entry. A step you mark done, like sending an application, reads Completed.
- Course matches come from official agreements: ASSIST for California community colleges sending to UC and CSU, or the university's own guide or credit evaluation elsewhere. A match counts only for the academic year of its agreement.
- A course that might count, but whose match isn't confirmed, reads Not counted yet, with the exact list, agreement or office to check. It never counts until the match is confirmed or you enter it yourself. Something we don't know is never shown as fine.
- AI helps us read official pages and your transcript, but it never decides a rule: a rule needs its exact words found on the official page, and nothing read from a transcript is saved until you check it and save it.
